2️⃣ Research each one for 15 minutes. Recent news, what the role actually does.
3️⃣ Ask about the work, not the process. “What does a first-year analyst spend their day doing” beats “are you hiring.”
4️⃣ The one everyone skips: get the recruiter’s name and follow up within 48 hours.

Here's how to actually work a career fair instead of just collecting the free pens. Number one, pick five target companies before you even walk in the door. Five, you cannot have real conversations with 20 different companies at once. Number two, research each one for about like 15 minutes. Recent news, what the role actually does, even the CEO and the executive team is perfect. Number three, ask about the work, not the process. What does the first-year analyst spend doing day after day? And number four, this is the one that everybody skips, and find out who the recruiter's name is. This is important, it's imperative, and it's worth the research. Save this for the next fair, and I promise you it'll pay off.
